MoDia Pocket Diaper Review and Giveaway - Rafflecopter

So you all know that I am addicted to cloth.

Well I am now officially addicted to WAHM made diapers!

I recently purchased a Mo Dia Diaper in a charity auction.

These diapers are made primarily by two sister-in-laws, registered nurses, and Work at Home Momma's to little girls.  Hannah and Sarah started sewing diapers as a hobby and have now made the move to selling their great diapers to mom's like you and me.  

The name Mo Dia come from a combination of their daughters names (Moriah and Lydia).

The diaper I purchased is a one size Pocket diaper.

The diaper has a printed PUL outer and a super soft, stay dry Suede cloth inner. The suede cloth in this diaper is great, it is super squishy (that's a good thing) and is holding up really well.  I have a few other diapers with suede cloth inners that just don't seem as soft after they have been washed a few times.  That is NOT the case with these.  Even after several washes the suede cloth is still great!

The pocket diaper comes with a Hemp Fleece insert AND a bamboo doubler!  They are both very trim and even when the diaper is stuffed with both it is super trim on babies bottom.  

The pocket opening on this diaper is VERY generous.  Even DH has no problem stuffing the diaper with both the insert and the doubler.

One of the features that I am learning to love is the front elastic.  I have had other diapers with front elastic that I hated!  Mostly because I found it was difficult to get a good fit with the front elastic with out an extra pair of hands.  That isn't the case with these diapers.  The front elastic is only about 4 inches in length at the front of the diaper, while it is enough to help contain leaks on a tummy sleeper it isn't so much that you feel unable to get a nice snug fit like some other diapers.  

One of the other unique features on this diaper is the color coded snaps.  Instead of having to count snaps to be sure that you have the tabs lined up correctly all you have to do is match up the colors!  

It has three rise settings AND much to my joy three columns of snaps for the rise settings!

The one thing I am not horribly fond of in this diaper is the snaps on the tabs are exposed on both sides of the tabs.  So when the diaper is set to its largest setting the back snap may actually touch babies skin.  Not a huge deal but could irritate a little one.  

All in all I think this is a great diaper!  For $21.95 you get a diaper a hemp insert and a bamboo doubler!  AND you are helping to support to working mommas!
