HyperSwipe by ThinkFun Review

My boys LOVE to play games. But having a 6 and a 4 years old it can sometimes be hard to spend family time playing games. My 6 year old can sit for hours and play while my 4 year old is usually done after just a few minutes.

Well HyperSwipe has been a great solution to this dilemma.

HyperSwipe is a matching game. But it is not like the slow paced matching games that you and I were used to. Hyper Swipe is a fast paced, get out of my way while I swipe that card matching game.

The game comes with 2 sets of cards. Square cards that each have a single image on them and round cards that have 3 different images on them. The round cards go in the red machine and are pushed out one by one as fast as you can grab them out.
The object of the game is to match the round cards with the square cards that you were dealt. The first to match all their cards wins. Easy Right?

Not so fast. If you look closely at the square cards you can see that the pictures on them while they look almost the same are actually different.

This means just because you see an orange Popsicle pop up you can't just grab it. For all you know it could be a guitar or tree!

My six year old really loves to play this game. He asks us to play it almost every night!
One of the other great things about this game is that we CAN play it every night!

One game usually takes about 2 or 3 minutes to finish and even if its just about bed time we can always sneak in a game or two.

We do have the occastional problem with the hard "thrower" getting jammed but it hasn't been to bad. It is simple to fix and we are usually up and running again in just a few minutes.

Watch HyperSwipe in action in this fun video of my family playing the game!

You can buy HyperSwipe for your kids from ThinkFun toys on there website. It retails for $24.99.
