Tender Tushies - A Very Fluffy Christmas Review and Giveaway

Next up on our list is Tender Tushies Cloth Diapers.  

Tender Tushies was started by Rachelle, a mom, a wife, a daycare provider and along with all of that a momprenuer!  She was on the hunt for the perfect, affordable cloth diaper and found that high price does not always equal great quality.

She wanted a diaper that didn't leak, had a leg snap, and a slight stretch to it.  Tender Tushies Diapers were born!

Tender Tushies are One Size Fits Most Pocket diapers.  They have an outer layer of PUL which actually has a slight stretch to it and an inner wicking layer of Micro-fleece.  Each diaper comes with a 5 layer microfiber insert.  

Rachelle sent me this super cute Jean print diaper.  It is a PUL printed to look like Jeans.  It has 3 rise settings and cross over tabs.  

The inner microfleece is super soft and squishy and the diaper has just the right amount of stress in it.  

The microfiber insert is nice and fluffy.  It has 5 layers of microfiber which is more than most standard inserts.  Especially on a budget friendly diaper.

The diaper has a very generous sizing range.  It gets down pretty small and opens up very large.  This diaper will definitely be able to be able to fit your little one well into potty training.  

The pocket on this diaper is a bit smaller than I prefer.  If you had large hands or your husband was trying to stuff this diaper they may have some trouble getting it in there flat.  It also does not have a flap at the back pocket which I find can make it more difficult to keep the insert from sliding out the back.  Especially on the smallest settings.  However the elastic at the pocket is nice and strong and does hold the insert in pretty well.  

The only other thing about this diaper I don't really like is the cross over snap lay out.  They are very close together and this causes issues when you try to use the cross over snaps.  They just don't line up with the snaps right and you only get one snap to hold the diaper in place.  This is only an issue while your baby is tiny.  Once they get a little large and you aren't using the cross over snaps this isn't an issue at all.
