Not Perfect

My husband and I have been together for over 10 years now.  We have three perfect little boys and and wonderful love.  But sometimes I still forget that he is just human.  While I might feel like he is superman sometimes, the truth is he isn't and I need to remind myself that the imperfections that drive me nuts are some of the very things that I fell in love with.  The below from Bob Marley sums it up perfectly and reiterates the tag line of this very blog!  I may not be a perfect Mom but I was Tailor Made just right for my family.   My husband may not be a perfect man but he is just right for me.

"He's Not Perfect.  You aren't either, and the two of you will never be perfect. But if he can make you laugh at least once, causes you to think twice, and if he admits to being human and making mistakes, hold on to him and give him the most you can.  He isn't going to quote poetry, he's not thinking about you every moment, but he will give you a part of him that he know you could break. Don't hurt him, don't change him, and don't expect more than he can give.  Don't analyse.  Smile when he makes you happy, yell when he makes you mad, and miss him when he's not there. Love hard when there is love to be had. Because perfect guys don't exist, but there is always one guy that is perfect for you."
