Mac-A-Doodle AI2 Review and Discount!

So I have been stocking the Mac-A-Doodle website since about 2 weeks after I started using cloth on Colton.  I really wanted one of her diapers! They were super cute and I had heard nothing but good things.  Then it happened I was up at 2am feeding Colton and she stocked her ETSY Shop! I had never been so happy to be up at 2am in my life!!
I snagged up this cute little owl print diaper!

Shortly after that I was lucky enough to Win a diaper from Gretchen in a referral contest!  (thank you to my wonderful fans!) I let hubby pick the print and he picked this "Stars and Stripes" pattern.  (I will say that I did veto his first 2 picks).

The AI2 OSFM diaper comes with two inserts. A large insert and a small insert that snap into the diaper.  The small insert works great when the diaper is snapped down all the way and you don't have to fold it to keep it in the diaper.
The inserts themselves are made of a layer of Chamois Fleece, Zorb, and Bamboo fleece.  So when you have both inserts snapped into the diaper you essential have 4 layers of absorption plus the two layers of Chamois Fleece!

With the diaper snapped all the way down I currently use just the smaller insert, and have found it to be extremely absorbent.  It made it through a 4 hour nap with no leaks!
The diaper itself is extremely trim.  It is just narrow enough between the legs and with the thinner inserts it is very trim in the booty.

The outer layer of the diaper is what she calls a half and half diaper.  The front of the diaper is 1mil PUL and the rest of the diaper is made of a minky print with a hidden layer of PUL.

These diapers do not have what I would call a traditional hip snap, but they do have three rows of snaps around the waist, as well as cross over tabs.  Colton is 12lbs and wears the diaper at the first cross over.  So this diaper will easily fit a baby smaller very well and it actually fits my 39lb 4 year old as well.  (he wouldn't let me take a picture because he HATES when I make him put on diapers!)
There are also a TOTAL of 5 snap down settings!  All the way open plus 4 snapped settings.

Here are a few more action shots of my little cutie!

They only thing i would change about this diaper would be to possibly add a third row of snap downs in the middle.  But that would be a purely cosmetic item. Other then that I absolutely LOVE these diapers and look forward to getting my hands on one of her Pockets!

Her diapers range from about $18 to $22 diapers depending on the diaper and the print.
