Wintery Fun

I always loved the first real snow fall of the year.  The way that it covers the branches of the trees and the tops of the houses.  How everything just looks so incredibly pure and innocent.

When I was as kid, and after I started having kids I loved to make snow angels and snowmen.  My snowmen were never very good.  Just your basic 3 ball snowman, with a scarf and some sticks for arms.   Yet, while I consider myself to be rather creative, I am very UNartistic!  So I leave the really hard stuff to the snow artist.  Since it is January here in Northern IL and we have yet to see any real snow, or super cold weather for that matter, I decided that I needed my snow fix!
