Zookies Diaper Cover - A Very Fluffy Christmas Review and Giveaway

So with the winter months here in Northern Illinois we are quickly moving away from the days of running (or in our case crawling) around the house in just a fitted diaper.  We need clothes and for me clothes means we need covers!  

Zookies is a family owned and operated business.  Michelle, the mom behind Zookies, was an elementary school teacher before becoming a Stay at home mom to two beautiful Zooks.  While she was home she decided that she wanted to find an additional outlet for herself and started to make diaper covers in her spare time.

Pul diaper covers are a fairly new adventure for me.  While I've been using fitted diapers for quite sometime  We usually just ran around without a cover.  As I mentioned now that it is colder that doesn't work that well with clothes on.  

When I first opened up this cover all I could think was how cute it was!  The Black and White animal print is fantastic!  The quality of the PUL is great!  It has a good thickness to and and works really well.

The cover fits great over several of our diapers.  We've worn it over a Babee Green Fitted, Earth Mom and Baby Fitted, as well as Oso Cozy Prefolds and it does the job everytime!

The diaper has VERY generous sizing.  It has cross over tabs and gets very small to accomidate a tiny little one but then opens up to make a HUGE cover to fit even the largest of babies!

While I really love the fold over elastic and the look that it gives the cover I have to say that it does stain easily.  I'm sure a good sunning session will get rid of the stain but I haven't had much good sun here lately.  It will also snag pretty badly if it happens to get caught up on an Aplix diaper.  It doesn't effect the quality or the effectiveness of the diaper is can be a little annoying.

Overall I really love this cover!  It does on occasion take a little messing with to be sure that the diaper under it is completely covered by the cover but once that is done it stays put and holds in EVERYTHING!!!
